MEMBERSHIP A $20 membership in the National Audubon Society includes membership in the Columbia Audubon Society for individuals living in Audrain, Boone, Cooper, Howard, Monroe, and Randolph Counties. Benefits of becoming a member of the National Audubon Society include receiving Audubon magazine, access to society-owned sanctuaries, and the satisfaction of making a financial contribution to campaigns such as Birds in the Balance. For more information on the National Audubon Society, please visit their excellent home page. Please place the chapter number (NOO 7XCH) on any membership card you may fill out. Members of the Columbia Audubon Society receive our newsletter, The Chat, are exposed to excellent speakers on a variety of natural history topics at monthly meetings, and have access to our wildlife areas. To join the National Audubon Society and Columbia Audubon, please send a $20 check (payable to National Audubon Society) to Vanessa Melton, Membership Chair, Columbia Audubon Society, P.O. Box 1331, Columbia, MO 65205. Include your name, address, and a request to become a new member of NAS/CAS. Local associate membership is available for persons who are not members of National Audubon, but who would like to receive the Columbia Audubon newsletter.
